In 2025, we started what we hope to be an annual community-wide event - LBC Buddy Fish.
Location: Bois D'Arc Lake, North Boat Ramp 1510 Old 1396 North, Telephone, TX
Each April, we plan to call all fishermen, young or old, to join us for a day at the lake.
If you long for an opportunity to get a chance to fish from a boat or even alongside the banks of the new Bois D'Arc Lake, this is your chance! As soon as the April 2026 date is set, we will update that information here, as well as advertise on Facebook.
Fish Fry:
Whether the fishermen, women, and/or children come back with fish or not, Lamasco Baptist also serves up a good southern fish fry, complete with wonderful sides and delicious desserts. Whether you put a pole in the water or not, the community is invited to attend.
Volunteers Needed:
In order for this event to be a success, we need your help. If you have a boat and are willing to take people out for some fishing, please contact us. Additionally, help with registration, meal prep, bait donations, etc. are also appreciated. Look for information on sponsorship opportunities as well.
